saying yes to Jesus

Our last day at Ekklesia was spent with the staff.

As many of you know, there are some staff who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. Brad shared the message about building our house on the rock – on the firm foundation. He invited people in to say, “Yes” to Jesus. Afterwards, Sister Almaz continued to share a bold message of people accepting Christ and not to wait to make the decision. Although we don’t know the fruit of this message, we trust God to use the words shared to transform hearts.

We sang Build Your Life, we passed out journals to each staff member, we shared a meal together, had a competitive game of volleyball going, Karen handed out kits to the women, and Amy taught some of the staff to knit. Others mingled and connected with staff members. Sometimes we had translators. Sometimes we did not. But regardless, communication happened through smiles and laughter and love.
