meet my friend - jet lag

Good morning! It is currently 4:14am on Sunday morning. I have been awake for a little over two hours and decided to introduce you to my good friend - Jet Lag. Jet Lag and I have become fast friends. We have spent much time together in the last four years traveling to Ethiopia.

Here is what I would like to say to my dear friend…

“I have come to accept you just as you are. But each time we work through our differences and you disappear from my life, I have to admit, I do not miss you. But I do welcome you with open arms each time you return to my life because it means I am spending time with people I dearly love! So, Jet Lag, here’s to you… to our time together for the next several days. And after that, I look forward to meeting again in November for our next trip together.”

But between you (the reader) and me, I would LOVE to know of any tried and true methods that have worked for you to fight jet lag - not sure it can be eliminated but at least diminished.

P.S. And if you share anything with me during the first two weeks of my return, please repeat several times.
