and the winner is...

In October, Ekklesia used the money we raised to purchase sheep for their husbandry project and a larger water tank. You may recall we invited people to purchase a sheep and in return they could name it. Last week, we were able to meet with some of the students at Ekklesia to have them vote for their favorite sheep name.  After waiting patiently, it is time to announce the winning sheep name from our sheep naming contest.

It was fun to share a little of our culture with the children. You see, Ethiopians do not name their pets, so this was quite humorous for them. But they were good sports and voted on their favorite name.
