to the uncomfortable unknown...

I always love watching new team participants.

When they sign up to travel to Ethiopia, they are usually a little hesitant - not knowing what to expect. There is anticipation around traveling to a new country, not speaking the same language, trying new foods, and being away from family and friends. Yet I am always amazed at how they dive into the uncomfortable unknown.

I would say, we added another great team to the books. Here are some photos from the trip...

One of my most cherished memories was sitting on this rock with a small group of children. The little guy on my left, Alemayehu, taught me how to count to ten in his native tongue - Oromiffa.
