macchiatos and church

Tired and jet lagged, the team has headed off to bed in preparation for tomorrow's big day of seeing the kiddos! (Cannot wait!)

To give you a quick recap of today... we visited a coffee shop for macchiatos before heading to church. It was a good thing... church was a little longer than back home. Okay... a lot longer. Two hours and forty-five minutes to be exact and, we headed out early. 

Although the length of the service was more than what we are used to and the language was foreign to our ears, everyone enjoyed the time we were able to worship with Semeret (our Children's HopeChest host) at her church.

After church, everyone experienced a traditional Ethiopian meal and then it was back to the guest house for some rest.
