Two of these young ladies may have been a bit surprised by the taste of the marshmallows...

Today, five weeks after returning from Ethiopia, I sat down on my bed and just looked at pictures and videos. It was wonderful. Wonderful to see all the children. Wonderful to reminisce the stories - the marshmallow and fruity cheerios tasting (for the first time), the home visits, hugs, songs sung, the stories told and acted out by children - the lost sheep being found, team bonding with Ekklesia staff, praying together on the new land, praying with Sister Almaz's board and prayer team, running through torrential downpours and falling in the mud, hearing many stories of hopelessness as well as many hopeful people who have met Jesus, recognizing the faces of so many of the sponsored children and connecting them with you, and the amazing 2015 team who remained flexible and patient as things changed daily - what an amazing trip!
